Le Mystère de la Jarre (Tanjia Marrakchia)
12-hour clay-pot Tanjia — the signature dish of Marrakech
Welcome to the original Krepchy. A warm restaurant in the Kasbah where Moroccan cuisine and fusion touches create a memorable evening.

Krepchy Kasbah is where it all began. Nestled in the historic Kasbah district, just steps from Bab Agnaou, this is the restaurant that started the Krepchy journey. The air smells of slow-cooked Tanjia, warm spices, and freshly baked bread — the same smells that have welcomed travellers and locals since 2019.
Here, we honour the traditions that define Moroccan cuisine while embracing the creativity that makes every meal memorable. From our signature Tanjia Marrakchia to our creative fusion dishes, every plate tells a story of heritage, hospitality, and heart.
Every dish is made from scratch using family recipes and the freshest local ingredients.

Discover the magic of Kasbah with our curated mini-guides

Perfect for tourists who want the "Big Hits" before sitting down to eat.
Start early to beat the heat and the crowds. It’s a 5-minute walk from us.
Walk through the most beautiful gate in Marrakech. Look up—the storks nesting there are the city’s unofficial landlords!
You’ve done the history, now taste the tradition.
"Ask for the corner table—it’s the best spot to watch the Kasbah life go by while you sip your first mint tea."

Designed for the crowd looking for the perfect light and a vibe.
The "Sunken Palace." The massive orange walls look incredible as the sun starts to dip.
Wander through the Mellah (Old Jewish Quarter) just a few minutes away. The colors of the spice cones are literal art.
Head to our rooftop/terrace. The call to prayer echoing across the Kasbah at sunset is a core memory.
"The light hits our signature tagline wall perfectly at 7 PM. Have your camera ready!"

For the guest who wants to avoid the 'tourist traps'.
Just around the corner, see where the local families bring their bread to be baked in the community wood-fired oven.
Walk the perimeter of the Kasbah wall. It’s quiet, authentic, and smells like blooming jasmine in the spring.
End up at Krepchy for a cold drink or a quick snack.
"If you see a local kid carrying a tray of bread to the oven, follow them (respectfully!)—it leads to the most authentic parts of our neighborhood."
